After nearly 3 years of inactivity, the Indiana High School Democrats were relaunched in June of 2016 by three Carmel High School Students: Cole Ferguson, Brian Hancock, and Noah Huber. It didn't take long for high school Democrats from Jeffersonville to Goshen to have a huge impact on the 2016 election, as our state combined to make over 35,000 calls and canvass over 9,000 doors. The Indiana High School Democrats have been working hard in the time since to prepare our local chapters to play an even bigger role in the 2018 midterms.
Our statewide organization is comprised of an Executive Board and State Committee. The Executive Board consists of 4 voting positions and serves as the governing body of the Indiana High School Democrats. The State Committee, which is made up of local leaders and the executive board, serves as the voting body for executive board elections and fosters communication between the INHSD Executive Board and local chapters.
